Through Dickinson's pre-health program, students interested in careers in health care are advised and mentored in preparing for the next step. Students recommended by the pre-health committee have had great success—as demonstrated by a medical school acceptance rate of 93 percent. The agreement Dickinson has with Thomas Jefferson University further supports our students' success in pursuing advanced study in the fields of health and medicine.
Jefferson College of Population Health
Dickinson students with a 3.3 GPA or higher receive priority admission to the Jefferson College of Population Health’s following programs:
- Master of Public Health MPH (online and in-person delivery options)
- Master of Public Health/PhD Population Health Science Dual Degree MPH/PhD
- Master of Science in Health Data Science HDS
