President's Letter to Parents

February 11, 2025

Dear Dickinson Parents:

Dickinson’s Board of Trustees recently approved the college’s comprehensive fee schedule for the 2025-26 academic year. The annual cost of tuition, housing, food and fees will increase by 4.45% from $82,750 to $86,430. Dickinson is committed to providing your student with an exceptional education, one that offers an immersive academic experience that combines individualized advising and mentoring with hands-on learning in small classes, labs, fieldwork, study abroad and internships.

The specific amounts for each component of our comprehensive fee for the 2025-26 academic year will be:

Tuition:      $68,030
Housing:     $9,190
Food:          $8,660
Student fee:   $550
Total fee:   $86,430

In line with our ongoing commitment to access and affordability and our efforts to assist students and their families, the college will continue to meet demonstrated financial need. It is important to remember that each financial aid case is assessed individually based on their family's unique financial circumstances; therefore, any increase to the financial aid budget does not mean that every student will receive an increase in their need-based aid. Financial aid renewal instructions will be sent from the Office of Financial Aid before the end of February.

As you begin to plan for the next academic year, I encourage you to visit the Student Accounts Office website at dickinson.edu/studentaccounts. This site provides information about available payment methods, tuition payment plans and tax benefits for education. Members of the student accounts team are also ready to help you and can be reached at 717-245-1953 or stuaccts@dickinson.edu.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment to Dickinson.

Sincerely,

John E. Jones III ’77, P’11
President
