Pre-Departure Orientation
To prepare for off-campus studies, all students must attend an in-person workshop. The workshop will be offered several times each semester to accommodate academic and sports schedules.

Program Specific Pre-Departure Orientation
Students on Dickinson programs will attend a program-specific pre-departure meeting where arrival information, housing, course information will be shared. Students on partner programs will attend program specific pre-departure orientation offered by their program providers.
Additional Resource
The Center for Global Study and Engagement provides all students studying abroad/away with important information about health, safety and well-being, academics, finances and more via Moodle before departure.
Students participating on a Dickinson program will also use Moodle to access important program-specific information, including information about visas, arrival details, packing lists, academics, finances, contact information, etc. Students participating on partner programs will receive program-specific information from their study abroad provider. This information may be shared via a handbook, application portal, or website.
